Kansept Halide

The Kansept Halide is a refined folding knife designed by James Arnold, combining practical blade geometry with distinctive materials. Its 81.3 mm reverse tanto blade is made from CPM S35VN steel and finished with a rose-gold coating. A flat grind gives the blade efficient cutting characteristics, while the 3.0 mm thickness provides a balanced profile for general utility work. Copper-coloured carbon fibre gives the handle a striking appearance while helping to keep the overall weight to 92.6 g. The ball-bearing system supports smooth blade action, and the liner lock secures the blade in its open position during use. At 190.4 mm overall, the Halide offers a well-proportioned combination of cutting capability, manageable size and considered design.
