Tenable Anomaly

The Tenable Anomaly is Dirk Pinkerton’s interpretation of a folding kwaiken, bringing the designer’s purpose-led approach to a slim and elegant everyday folder. Its flat-ground tanto blade measures 79.8mm and is made from authentic 110-layer JD-110 Damascus, forged from 10Cr15CoMoV and 9Cr18MoV steels. The layered construction gives each blade a distinctive patterned finish. A crossbar lock provides dependable lock-up, complemented by a ball-bearing pivot for smooth operation. The blade can be opened using either the thumb studs or fuller, while the G10 handle offers a practical, secure platform without unnecessary bulk. At 185.1mm overall and weighing 92.7g, the Anomaly is compact and well balanced, with a reversible pocket clip allowing left- or right-side configuration.
