Tenable Gideon

The Tenable Gideon is a distinctive folding knife designed by Dead Sober Design. Inspired by a cherished canine companion and the mythical dragon behind its name, the design incorporates scale-like backspacer jimping, a sweeping handle profile and a purposeful clip-point blade. The 3.5-inch blade is made from Nitro-V steel with a stonewashed finish and flat grind, delivering a practical combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance and controlled slicing performance. Its contoured black Micarta handle provides a comfortable, reliable grip without adding unnecessary weight. A liner lock secures the blade during use, while the thumb hole and ball-bearing system allow smooth manual opening without a flipper tab. Measuring 203.5 mm overall and weighing 103.2 g, the Gideon combines functional proportions, durable materials and an individual design language suited to a wide range of practical cutting tasks.
