Tenable Gideon

The Tenable Gideon is a liner-lock folding knife designed by Dead Sober Design, combining practical cutting performance with a distinctive sculptural profile. Its 3.5 in / 89.01 mm clip-point blade is made from Nitro-V steel and uses a flat grind for clean, controlled cuts. A blackwash finish gives the blade a characterful appearance while helping to make marks from regular use less noticeable. The curved green Micarta handle offers a tactile, comfortable grip, with a tapered shape and textured backspacer jimping that reflect the Gideon’s scale-inspired design language. A ball-bearing pivot and thumb hole provide smooth opening without a flipper, while the liner lock supports secure operation. At 8.01 in / 203.5 mm overall and 3.64 oz / 103.2 g, it is a well-balanced choice for everyday utility and outdoor tasks.
