Tenable Parr

Designed by Newfoundland-based knifemaker Jonathan Styles, the Tenable Parr is a compact fixed-blade knife created for dependable everyday utility. Named after the agile young stage of a salmon, its streamlined form reflects the designer’s inspiration from nature and emphasis on functional craftsmanship. The 2.87-inch reverse tanto blade features a straight cutting edge and flat grind for controlled, efficient cutting. Made from 14C28N stainless steel with a Blackwash finish, the 3.5 mm-thick blade balances edge retention, corrosion resistance and straightforward maintenance. Contoured brown Micarta handle scales and spine jimping provide a secure, comfortable grip, while the knife’s 66.3 g weight keeps it easy to manage. A precision-moulded Kydex sheath is included for protected storage and practical belt or pack attachment.
