Designed by knife-industry veteran Kim Ning, the Tenable Shard is a full-size folding knife that pairs distinctive materials with practical everyday performance. Its 3.47-inch / 88.3 mm reverse tanto blade has a flat grind and pronounced belly for versatile cutting. This version uses authentic 110-layer JD-110 Damascus, forged from 10Cr15CoMoV and 9Cr18MoV to create its patterned finish rather than relying on a laser-printed design. The amber PEI handle gives the Shard a striking appearance while keeping its weight to 3.58 oz / 101.6 g. A cross-bar lock delivers secure lock-up and straightforward one-handed operation, while the thumb hole and ball-bearing pivot support smooth opening without a flipper. Measuring 7.96 inches / 202.13 mm overall, the knife is completed by a reversible pocket clip for practical left- or right-handed positioning.
